Dear Presidents and Delegates,
Salesian greetings from the land of our holy founders. The letter on the centenary of the Association that Carolina Fiorica, Confederal President, sent enumerated the diverse activities that will enable us to prepare for this important and significant event. In these simple lines I communicate to you the criteria to follow in order to make the album of the federation to submit to the Confederation for the historical archives:

1. In the headquarters of the Confederation we have a light blue container (connected to one of the colors associated with Mary Help of Christians) for each federation which will contain the materials. The depth of each container or album is 3 centimeters. In this container, I will insert the pages in that you send with the information and photos which I will explain below.
2. The cover page should measure A4 with whichever color of your chossing.
   I will insert it in the front page of the container. The contents of the cover page should be:
   •  The name of the federation with the city or nation
   •  A design which represents the federation with cultural symbols of the city or nation or which refer to the Centenery. I know that you are artistic and creative!
   •  The measure of the cover should be: Width 26 centimeters Height 30 centimeters
   •  Please do not go beyond the measurements, however, it can be smaller
3. On the first page (which will go in the inside of the container) please include, in a creative manner:
   •  The name of the federation
   •  The current council of the federation along with the delegate (photo and caption)
   •  The name of the current provincial
   •  The name of the province’s councillor for the Salesian Family
   Name of the unions along with the number of associates
4. On the second page, present the activities, the social, spiritual, and formative meetings with photos and their respective captions. It is important that each photo include the name of the activity, names of the persons in the photo if there are few, or the names of significant persons, the date (day, month and year). Continue with the activities even to the third or fourth page. These should be the activities you experienced in the last 10 years or since the year 2000.
5. After you have presented the activites of the federation, present the activities of each Union with the same criteria, but referring to the Union.
   •  The name of the Union, city or nation
   •  The current council of the Union and the delegate (photo and caption)
   •  The name of the director of the community
   •  The number of associates of the Union
   •  The the social, spiritual, and formative meetings with photos and their respective captions.
6. Decide how many photos to include for each Union, keeping in mind that the depth of the container is 3 centimeters.
7. The materials should be attached to or designed on a sheet which measure A4, that is 21 cm by 29, 7 cm. The page may even be smaller, but not larger as the sheets will be inserted in plastic inserts which measure:
   Width 21 centimeters
   Height 30 centimeters
   Important: please don’t exceed this measure, however, the pages may be smaller.

Please do not e-mail the pages or materials, but send them via regular mail to the address of the Generalate. Because of the importance of the materials, they may be consigned directly to the Generalate instead of the headquarters of the Confederation as we are not there during the weekends and during some afternoons during the week the office is closed.

THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT MATERIALS IS THE END OF OCTOBER 2007
For the federations in the American continent, you may submit the materials to me during our meetings in Mexico which will be held July 22-29, 2007.
On the feast of our father, friend and teacher Don Bosco, we ask the Lord to give us a big heart to love and reach the needy youth, witnessing to them, and defending their gift of Life.
