…AND NOW I SALUTE YOU
The years we spent with you are beautiful, dear readers of “Union”, who were past pupils, FMA and Salesians, members of our great Family. The faces that are in my memories are many. I can’t name them…but they are all present in my memory, also the people that the distance didn’t allow me to know but that belong to my affective range.
Through our letters, also photos, e-mail, calls, you allowed me to enter and to take part to the life of your Unions and Federations, and of your houses. Many times you opened a door of your private existence. I thank you for these gifts and I will protect with care the richness of this experience and of your friendship.
My gratitude wants achieve many other persons. First the good God, who supports with His Spirit my commitment and the qualified work of the people who took part to the first editorial staff until now; of the collaborators who followed during the years; of the past pupils of the central Seat of Rome – friends always available in my little or big problems. Let me thank Cristiana Mariani, - who started with me the graphical and editorial work – and Luana Cotta – who worked for ten years to my side, helping me, in the preparation of Union: without their work, my work couldn’t be possible.
The thanks goes to the FMA Institute in the persons of Mother Antonia Colombo and Mother Yvonne Reungoat who with the sisters of the general Councils always supported me with their articles and support; the FMA, delegates and not, who always stand by my side also with the collaboration to the paper; sr. Teresita Osio, with whom we started… the first steps of this adventure and who is still present with her competence and suggestions; sr. Maritza Ortiz, who supported me in the difficulties. Also the Salesians – I name one in particular: don Ilario Spera, always ready to use the computer to send us his articles – my gratitude.
And I don’t finish: there are also the persons who support the Association with their responsibility and commitment.
You are, friends of the confederal Councils of the last six years and the Presidents: Rosadele Regge who gave me this commitment, Gabriella Eramo, who started with me and Carolina Fiorica, I finish. To all of us, my thanks also for the faith to a person as me who goes on following more the heart, the passion, and the love for the salesian-mornesine world, than the journalistic competence.
I always wear with joy the rosary gold ring that you gave me together to the beautiful icon of the Madonna, for all the Confederation.
I am a FMA past pupil, and my prayer will be always present to all of you, to the Salesian Family, to the Church and to the whole world.
To you, Concetta, friend for many years, the brotherly wish of good work, sure that our paper will be enrich of your experience of mother, of wife, of woman who knows how link the work in the family with deep faith, to the work of teacher and real salesian. You grew in the particular experience of educator of young people in the salesian environment; this will allow you to give to “Union” a touch of renewing, with suggestions of the young world.
Also to you, Maria Meghini, the wish of an effective collaboration, rich of your enthusiasm. |
