My letter are you
Derest,
while I thought about what can I write to you in this number of the magazine, again the World of God cames near me. I can’t avoid to smile everytime this happens: it seems the World wants play with me, and I accept the invitation with enthusiasm.
Then: I go to the Mass, leaving every worry out of the church and this is the second Reading: "... Our letter are you, letter written in our hearts, known and read by all the people. Letter written by God... not with ink..., not on stone tables but on body tables of your hearts...". This is Paolo who writes to the Corinzi.
My work today is done.
But do you think? If you aren’t here, I, now, don’t write to you. And the simple reflections that I share with you in this usual meeting make you close to me even if we are far away from each others. It isn’t merit of the ink but of the will to talk to the heart. On the body tables of our hearts, I try to write part of me. But I try also to voice your emotions, desires, dubts... It is a privilege give ourself to the others without losing part of us. Because the donation can be contagious , can also becomes reciprocal. We become better. Inside us, there is an hidden treasure in a strong shell. If we have no interst to find the treasure, then we avoid to have relations with “unbearable” people,
manteining professional relations only, or formal relations even if respectful. But if we love the adventure, if discover universe that is in our heart, makes us vital, then we continue to throwlove signs towards all, also towards the people who seems correspond. This is the style of our mornesine Spirituality. And this must mark us all over the world: in the big cities, in the arid and sterile countries, and in the rich and productive countries, during the work and at home. So, because we are all over the world, our letter will be known by all the people. Because, maybe, this is the letter written by God, object of Paolo in today Liturgy. At the next... letter!
