Eucharistic woman

Giovanni Paolo II, in this year dedicated to the Eucharist, gives to us to know better, an encyclical letter intitled: the Eucharist respecting the Church, that is respecting us.

The last charter is dedicated to the Virgin Maria: "To the school of Maria , Eucharistic Woman". Maria, is a person who can explain to us the meaning of the Eucharist because she knows Jesus. She is his Mother. The relation between Maria and the Eucharist is showed through her inner attitude. She is a mother who loves in silence, she waits because she loves. She is an "eucharistic" woman with her life.
She learnt with Jesus, following him silently during the public life till the cross.

Maria stays being in God’s grace, even when she doesn’t understand..
Maria stays at Nazaret, in obedience of the faith, so that the Incarnation of the God’s Sun. She is present in Elisabetta’s house, while she is pregnant of Jesus, becoming the first tabernacle of Christ. She is present in Cana of Galilea, to tell us: “Do what He tells to do.” She stays near the cross, giving herself together to her Son. She is present as a Mother in all the eucharistic celebrations as she did in the first community after the Ascension waiting for thePentecoste.
Her attitude symbolizes the presence of Christ in the Eucharist, she offers her life to God, loving men and women, ready to start.
Following the exemple of Maria, Main learnt to stay in front of Jesus, offering her life to the Eucharist. The Eucharist and the love for Maria are her points of reference. When Massimo offended her, she didn’t answer, but in the Eucharist, she prayed for him to obtain his conversion.
In Main’s letters, it’s beautiful see as Maria was her example. In the letter, Sr. Maria Domenica Mazzarello to Saint Giovanni Bosco, we read: “Tell to Maria SS. one of the words so that she helps me to practise what I have to teach” (L.3) And again, thanks to the grace of Maria, she wrote to the Sisters: “ Even if I am unworthy, our dear Madre Maria SS. Ausiliatrice does great graces”. (L.7)
She said to the sisters and to the girls to have faith in Maria. She writes:“ Teach to the girl the devotion for the Virgin Maria” (L.47)

In the school of Maria she learnt the holiness: “The Virgin Maria will happy and blesses us”. (L.52)
Sr. Anita Deleidi writes that the devotion of Main comes true renewing Maria’s mistery.

Finally, I want share with you the experience that I lived at Tirano, a beautiful city in Italy, that celebrates the 500 years of the apparition of the Virgin Maria to a farmer..She called him: “Well, Miss”-. “You will have good things” answered Maria andshe said to him to build a temple. If you did so the plaghe will disappear. And the plaghe disappeared when the temple was built.
Today, in the Sanctuary, behind the tabernacle, we can sees the place where Maria stayed. This surprised me. This fact means that Maria wants to be present in our life and she won’t leave us alone. She is a presence that talks in silence.
To stay to testify the Eucharist that means: charity, and adoration of Christ. We can be “eucharistic person”.
